Under Coating Gun designed for easy application of undercoating, wax/lanolin based rustproofing, sound proofing, gravel protection and bed liner. The gun has a threaded collar which allows for direct attachment to standard, metal and plastic, US Quart cans.

Components of Under Coating Gun
The gun has a threaded collar which allows for direct attachment to standard metal and plastic US quart cans with 1.75″ neck opening.
A plastic 18.5″ long wand, supplied with the gun, can be used for spraying in hard-to-reach place ie around mufflers and exhaust pipes.
Wand works best with wax and lanolin based coatings. High viscosity products may be too thick to spray through wand. If product is hard to spray through the wand, shortening the wand or adding thinner (consult product manufacturer for appropriate thinning agent) might help.
Although the nozzle of this gun is NOT adjustable, different textures can be obtained by varying the nozzle distance to the substrate, changing the angle of the gun and the air supply pressure.
Precautions for use of Under Coating Gun
When selecting, and before using, the product to be sprayed with the gun, verify that it is in fact compatible with the work environment and the individual safety devices employed, according to the product safety sheet.
Never point the spray gun at yourself, other people or animals, or in any case at anything else other than the object to be treated.
While operating the spray gun, wear the appropriate safety garments and devices (gloves, goggles, masks, overalls, etc.) according to the instructions listed in the product safety sheet. The use of goggles is always recommended.
Hang the gun on the special hook when it is not being used so as to guarantee its vertical position. Never tilt the spray gun at an angle greater than 45º either while operating or when not in use, in order to avoid fouling of the spray gun ducts.
Connect the gun to a compressed air supply. We recommend the use of an inline filter/reducer to ensure a clean air supply.
When spraying solvent based products always fully close the air regulator (BS45) on top of the tank cap. Close it by turning counter clockwise. Turning the product control knob (BS09) clockwise will gradually reduce the rate of product flow. Turning it counterclockwise will increase the product flow.
