Type Nozzle for Air Dust Gun
Air nozzles allow the operator to control and optimise the flow of compressed air. To select the most suitable nozzle, you should consider your application.There are two nozzle types to consider, conical or safety nozzles.
Traditional Conical Nozzles
A simple angled nozzle which facilitates access to tight spaces, this traditional conical nozzle is also available as a 9” nozzle which can be further cut and bent to suit individual applications.
Safety Nozzles
Safety nozzles are designed to prevent blockages, ensuring that the pressure at the main nozzle, in most cases, remains low enough to reduce the possibility of injury.There are two types of safety nozzles; Aircurtain and Reduced jet-velocity.
Application of Air Dust Gun
Air blow guns attach to air lines for the manual actuation and/or control of air discharge. They are used primarily for:
Debris removal and purging
Non-contact part cleaning and drying
General laboratory or industrial applications
Air Dust Gun - Housing and Internal Parts
Air blow guns typically have metal or plastic housings. A plastic housing is much lighter than a metal housing and prevents the cold feel of the handle. The pistol grip and handle provide the ergonomic benefit to the user. The nozzle that guides the compressed air into the desired spot is generally made from aluminum or zinc plated steel.
The internal parts of the gun are made out of brass and stainless steel while its sealing is typically made out of NBR. For additional user protection, air blow gun can also have protective shields, generally made up of plastic, for protection against rebound particles.
