Scope of Application and Usage Scenarios
DT-2000 low pressure automatic spray gun are widely used for surface treatment of mobile phone cases,computer cases,bottles,cosmetic containers,industrial toys and other products.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OF LOW PRESSURE AUTOMATIC SPRAY GUN
Prior to operation read the operating instructions carefully.
Meko automatic spray gun can only be used as a pneumatic tool.This spray gun must never be used for any other purpose as it may jeopardize the personal safety of the operator or other persons present.
OPERATION
Connect atomizing air hose to atomizing air connector (CAP marked) and operating air hose to operating air connector (CYL marked) tightly.Connect fluidhose to fluid connector tightly.Valve orifice inside three-way solenoid valve should be minimum ø4mm (0.157 in) and the operating hose should be within 10m (32.8 ft) and the inside diameter must be not less than 6mm (0.236 in) to avoid delayed operation and any failure.The recommended operating air pressure is 3-4 bar (43-57 psi).
SAFETY
1.Never allow untrained or unauthorized persons to operate this automatic spray gun.
2.Do not point the gun toward yourself or others.Solvents can cause damage to people's eyes and skin.
3.To repair the gun, please turn off the air paint beforehand.
4.Never use matches,smoke or operate a spray gun in the vicinity of a naked flame.
WARNING
1.Be sure to clean the gun every time you finish using it.Do not submerge complete automatic spray gun in solvents.
2.Do not damage holes of air cap set and fluid nozzle.Clogged air holes must not be cleaned with metal objects.
3.Clean air cap set,fluid nozzle and fluid needle with brush after each operation.
4.Flush the gun material passage with a compatible solvent.
5.Clean the parts before reassembling the gun.
6.Do not push fluid needle packing screws to the end, otherwise the needle will not be able to move. Just move it to a level that will not drip paint.
7.If fluid adjusting knob turned counterclockwise too loose, it will reduce the flexibility of the thimble spring, so that it will cause nozzle drip paint.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING
1.Problem:Fluttering
Cause:
A.Insufficient material in cup.
B.Dry or worn fluid needle packing set or loose fluid needle packing screw.
C.Loose or damaged fluid nozzle.
Soluation:
A.Refill material.
B.Lubricate or replace fluid needle packing set or tighten fluid needle packing screw.
C.Tighten or replace fluid nozzle.
2.Problem:Crescent
Cause:
A.The fluid nozzle has been damaged.
B.Material build-up on air cap.
Soluation:
A. Clean air cap with proper objects.
B.Clogged air holes must not be cleaned with metal objects.
3.Problem:Heavy top or bottom
Cause:
A. Material build-up on air cap.
B.Dirty or damaged fluid nozzle
Soluation:
A.Clean or replace air cap.
B.Clean or replace fluid nozzle.
4.Problem:split
Cause:
A.Material too thin or not enough.
B.Atomizing air pressure too low
Solutions:
A. Increase material viscosity.
B.Reduce air pressure.
5.Problem:Heavy cente
Cause:
A. Material too thick or too much.
B.Atomizing air pressure too high.
Solution:
A.Reduce material viscosity.
B.Increase air pressure.
6.Problem:Gun drips from fluid nozzle
Cause:
A.Obstructions between fluid nozzle and fluid needle.
B.Worn fluid nozzle or needle.
Solution:
A. Clean fluid needle and fluid nozzle in thinner.
B.Replace parts.
7.Problem:Gun leaks from needle packing screw
Cause:
A. Loose fluid needle packing screw.
B.Dry or worn fluid needle packing.
Solution:
A.Tighten fluid needle packing screw,check fluid needle for free movement.
B.Lubricate or replace needle packing.
